Alright it was either the honest exhaustion of getting back to the grind so shortly after the relief of completion and confirmation of our previous hard work, or just the natural law that nothing gets done on Mondays. Because after getting a feeling for where we were with this new piece with a solid run-through, staring at the sheet music to the Beethoven for longer than 20 minutes at a time became a brutally and hysterically difficult. Perhaps by tomorrow, we all will have been enlightened by the gods of focus and work ethic and we may perhaps begin to move somewhere, hoping to be forward, with this new piece of music.
